Coat Making (Thurs.)

11/05, 11/12, 11/19, (no class 11/26), 12/03, 12/10, (Holiday break), 1/07, 1/14, 1/21
Class cap: 7 In person
$275
8 weeks
Participants choose their patterns based on the jacket or coat look they’re going for, and will have options:
Pockets: Patch, side seam, or welt pockets
Buttonholes: Machine or Bound buttonholes
Collars: Notched or other
Lining: Hand sewn or machine sewn lining insertion
Sleeves: Vented or not
Length: Jacket or coat
This is a construction class. Participants will be expected to have a muslin of the pattern they will use for the first class, at which time we will fine tune the muslin.
Patterns should be approved by Instructor Jane Headley
Classes will be recorded; recordings and instructional videos will be distributed after each class.
