Option 1: 9/30, (for muslin fitting), 10/07, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 ($175)
Option 2: 10/07, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 ($140)
A fitted muslin is required for this class. You may have had your muslin fitted in a previously offered Advanced Guided Sew, in which case, you would register for Option 2, a 4 week class.
However, if your muslin has not been fitted by Jane, you should register for Option 1, a 5 week class.
For this class you will choose a shirt or blouse pattern that is to your liking, and Jane will cover the skills needed for you to succeed in making a well fitting blouse or shirt of your choosing.
In addition to the skills needed to make this blouse or shirt, a most valuable takeaway from class is that you’ll have a well fitting pattern, i.e., the muslin that ultimately is used as your pattern.
Among skills taught and /or reviewed are collars, sleeves, plackets and cuffs. Fitting skills are inherent in the muslin making process. If you so choose, lengthen it to dress length.
