If you’re interested in learning how to construct a buttondown shirt, this is the class for you! In this workshop, Jen will teach you how to construct an oversized button down shirt jacket that can be made from heavier weight fabrics like fleece or lighter weight fabrics like flannel or chambray denim. We will focus on shirt construction details of the collar, placket, cuff and vent. See how to elevate the look of the inside of your shirt with Hong Kong finished side seam and hem allowances. This is a unisex pattern, the sleeves are off the shoulder with no bust dart & a boxy fit. Jennifer will demonstrate how to take it in to create shape in the waist if desired.
