Clean out and cut up your old clothes that you don't wear / they don’t fit, and give them a new life by creating something completely different or by adding embellishments. Some ideas may include a shirt you would like to add patches/embroidery to or a dress that you would like to turn into a skirt, pants you’d like to use for shorts, crop a t-shirt……. Bring your creativity and come with some inspiration ideas! Sewing experience is required for this class.
Please bring some textiles you would like to add to your garments. Try looking through your scrap fabrics and pull some fun fabrics to make a scrappy patch! You can also mend a hole by putting a fabric over it. (Old jeans make for great patches).
