Upcycled Sweatshirt/Coat from Blanket/Quilt

Join Meg and turn those suitable blankets into the comfiest sweatshirts or jackets! Although sewing experience is required for this project, it is a basic garment that is not too challenging to create, which makes it beginner friendly. Premade bias tape elevates this garment and makes seam finishing easy. Blanket should be no smaller than 60” x 70”. You can also combine blankets to make one of a kind garment! If you would like to make a baby jacket, the quilt should be at least 36” x 36”.
